Community RePaint sees 'paint waste' as a resource - as long as it is reusable and strives to collect and redistribute more paint each year.
Emmaus (Oxford) Second hand Superstore. Emmaus collect and receive re-usable furniture, electrical appliances and other household items from anywhere in Oxfordshire.
Orinoco A charity based in Oxford that promotes re-use, art and creative play using Scrap. From their Scrapstore they sell scrap items donated from public and businesses for art, craft, play and creative projects. Includes art materials, household paint and a range of DIY materials. Everything in the store is incredibly cheap and the household paint is free.
Freecycle is an email list where people give away things that they no longer need for free.
Recycle for Oxfordshire A partnership of the county and district councils of Oxfordshire who are working together to continuously improve waste management services within the county.

Environmental Media Solutions Bristol based organisation who are able to recycle 78% of Video tapes, 100% of CD’s and DVD’s and their cases, leaving just 22% being sent to waste to energy which consists mainly of the magnetic tape. The service is free of charge for households, though they can’t cover postage or shipping costs.
WRAP (Waste and Resources Action Programme) Helps individuals, business and local authorities to reduce waste and recycle more, making better use of resources and helping to tackle climate change. Run initiatives like, Love Food, Hate Waste and Recycle Now!
The Community Composting Network UK-wide organisation supporting and promoting community groups, social enterprises and individuals which are involved in producing compost from green/food waste and using it in their local communities.
